I have manually entering 2015 checks in this new year. I noticed that the gift date on the email receipt is the day that I entered the gift, not the transaction, payment or allocation date that I entered. How can I change the field for the date to reflect the payment date?

Can you confirm that there are two dates showing on your email receipt, the first is the "donation received" date, which is the transaction date, and the second is the "receipt date" which is the date that you input the transaction into the system?
Can you also confirm whether you're seeing both dates on the acknowledgement as well?
There is only one date showing on the receipt. It is the Gift Date (the date I put the info into the system)
The receipt and the acknowledgment are combined so the donor gets one email that functions as both receipt and acknowledgement.
